Starting today, you can order the new iPhone 8 in its base version and Plus . The phones were introduced at Apple Park on Tuesday, amid great expectations, and reservations can now be made online . The products will be received just after September 22.
The iPhone 8 released from 64 GB has a value of USD 699 and the 256 GB version costs USD 849. Meanwhile the 64GB Plus comes out USD 799 and the 256GB version of storage is sold at USD 949.
As for design, this new generation of iPhone adds glass on the front and back. It has the edge of aluminum and comes in new tones: space gray, silver and gold.
The display is OLED and comes in two sizes: in the case of the iPhone 8 is 4.7 inches and in the Plus version, it is 5.5 inches.
The HD display includes True Tone, a technology that lets you enjoy a wider color gamut and automatically adjusts the white balance. It also integrates 3D Touch.
The two models have a new processor, called a Bionic Chip A11 six-core that is 25% faster than the iPhone 7 and up to 70% more efficient.
Also noteworthy is the processing capacity of the new three-core GPU, developed by Apple, which is 30% faster than the A10 Fusion chip.
Another point that should be mentioned of the new chip is that it is thought to generate a more immersive experience when it comes to using applications and video games of augmented reality.
This eighth generation features wireless charging, standard Qi, used worldwide; so you can charge the equipment on wireless bases available almost anywhere.
The iPhone 8 includes a 12MP camera with 1.8x focal aperture and the Plus has two lenses with 12 MP resolution and 1.8 and 2.8 focal aperture respectively, plus 2X optical zoom and a digital one up to 10 increases.
An enhancement is added to use the portrait and selfies function that allows to modify backgrounds and textures. The front camera of the 8 is 7 MP with f / 2.2 and the Plus has the same resolution but with f / 1.8 that allows better photos even when the light is low.
The iPhone X, which also appeared on Tuesday at Apple Park, can be booked from October 27 and will be available from November 3.
